Here are 5 Super Cheap Dinner Ideas that are quick and easy!

They are very helpful during the holiday season when you are trying to get dinner on the table quick, and trying not to eat out all of the time.

 

Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie

1 and 2/3 cup frozen mixed vegetables

1 cup of cooked and shredded chicken

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 cup of Bisquick

1/2 cup of milk

1 egg

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.  Mix together your vegetables, shredded chicken and cream of chicken soup in an ungreased glass pie plate. Then mix together your remaining ingredients until blended.   Pour this mixture on top of the chicken mixture.  Bake 30 minutes, or until it’s golden brown.

 

 Easy Lasagna

1 pound of ground beef

1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce

1 15 ounce container of ricotta cheese

2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

2 eggs

12 lasagna noodles, cooked

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Brown  your ground beef and drain. Add in the sauce and heat.  Mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses with the eggs.  Spread  a cup of the sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.  Start layering the lasagna noodles,  meat sauce and, cheese mixture until you finish with noodles and sauce on the top.  Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Let stand for about 10 minutes before serving.

 

Easy Pizza Bake




2 packs of Bisquick buttermilk biscuit mix
1 cup of water
1 jar of your favorite pizza sauce
1 package of pepperoni slices
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Grease a 13×9 baking dish.  Mix the Bisquick and water until it turns into dough and drop in even amounts across the bottom of the baking dish.  Spoon a cup of the sauce over the dough evenly.  Place half of the pepperoni slices over that evenly.  Add a cup of the cheese evenly over that.  Repeat until all ingredients are added and your finish with cheese.  Bake for 25 minutes.

 

 Quick Chicken and Bean Burritos

2 teaspoons of lime juice

2 tablespoons of cilantro, chopped

2 cups of shredded and cooked chicken

4 teaspoons of taco seasoning mix

1 can of re-fried beans

flour tortillas

1 cup o shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup of your favorite salsa

 

Stir together lime juice and cilantro. In separate bowl, stir together chicken and taco seasoning mix.  Layer your chicken mixture, cilantro mixture, beans, cheese, and salsa in the tortillas and roll up.

 

Oven Baked Chicken

20 saltine crackers, crushed

2 and 1/2 cups of corn flakes, crushed

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

2 egg whites

1 cup of plan yogurt

1 tablespoon of mustard

1/2 teaspoon of salt

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Spray your baking sheet with cooking spray.  Stir together the cracker and cereal crumbs and the garlic powder.  In a separate bowl mix together the egg whites, yogurt, mustard, and salt.  Coat the chicken breasts in the yogurt mixture, then in the cracker mixture.  Make sure to coat them thoroughly.  Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until juices are clear.
