1. Add more body to your hair
If you add Epsom Salt to your conditioner and leave it on for about 15 minutes before rinsing, you will create volume and body in your hair.
2. Bath Soak for Achy Muscles
You can soak in plain Epsom Salt to relieve tired and achy muscles, but you can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to create a true spa experience. It also pulls toxins from the body.
3. Facial Exfoliator
Mix a little Epsom Salt with your normal facial cleanser. It will exfoliate your skin and because it has antibacterial properties also help with any acne you may have.
4. Body Scrub Substitute
You can use Epsom Salt as a substitute for sugar in your homemade body scrub recipes. It gives the added benefit of helping sore muscles when you rub it into your skin.
5. Itch Relief
If you mix a little warm water with Epsom Salt and put it in a spray bottle, you can spray it on bug bites and other itches and it will make the itching stop.
Follow the directions on any Epsom Salt package for use as a laxative. It is an effective treatment for occasional constipation.
