6 tbsp butter or margarine
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite size pretzels
1 cup bite-size bagel chips, garlic flavor work the best
This recipe serves 24 people. In a bowl mix together the cereals, nuts, bagel chips, and pretzels. Melt the butter. Then mix the seasonings into the butter. Pour that over the cereal mixture and stir together well. Spread out on cookie sheets and bake at 250 degrees for about an hour or until mixture is desired crispness.
Sweet and Spicy Holiday Chex Mix Recipe
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 cups whole almonds
1 package sweetened dried cranberries, 6 ounces
1 tsp grated orange peel
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp pepper
6 cups Corn Chex cereal
1 bag white chocolate chunks, 12 ounces
This recipe serves 26 people. In a bowl mix together the cereal and almonds. Melt the butter. Then mix the brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, orange peel, vanilla, and pepper into the butter. Pour that over the cereal mixture and stir together well. Spread out on cookie sheets and bake at 250 degrees for about an hour or until mixture is desired crispness. Stir in the cranberries and chocolate chunks before serving.
Chocolate Muddy Buddy Chex Mix Recipe
9 cups Chocolate Chex cereal
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
This recipe serves 18 people. Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in the microwave on 30 second intervals just until smooth. Stir in the vanilla. Pour that mixture over the cereal and stir until evenly coated. Pour into two gallon bags and add powdered sugar. Shake the bags until coated evenly.
